Written after 2Peter, perhaps after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.
Similar to 2nd Peter, chapter 2.

1. Exhortation to contend earnestly for the faith against those who had crept in to corrupt them. (3-4)

2. God’s power to bring judgment upon them (5-7) a. Those brought out of Egypt were destroyed for Rebellion. (5) b. Angels who kept not their first estate are in chains awaiting Judgment. (6) c. Sodom and Gomorrah suffered the vengence of eternal fire (7)
