THEME: Charge to Timothy, who had been left at Ephesus, concerning his duties as an evangelist.
By the apostle Paul, probably from Macedonia about 64 A.D.
Probably after Paul was freed from his first imprisonment (Acts 28)
Or, possibly when Paul was driven out of Ephesus and went to Macedonia (Acts 20:1).
