The Wednesday Night Small Group Bible study is for 9th grade through young adult. It meets at the building from 7:00- 8:15 PM each Wednesday throughout the year. This is our core small group Bible Studies led by adults of the church.
These classes meet at 9:30AM each Sunday. Our Middle School class and High School class is presently combined. We spend this time studying the New Testament part of the Bible.
These activities range from recreational to public service, thus varying in time, day, and place. They are scheduled at least once a month and are designed to integrate Christian principles into the youth's everyday life, as well as an avenue the teens can use for evangelism and service.
Summer camp is one of the highlights of the summer for youth here at Glen Acres. Summer camp is held at Camp Dudley, near White Pass in the Cascade Mountains. We run two camps: Junior Camp for grades 4-8 and Senior Camp for grades 8-12.
During the year, we try to schedule a weekend retreat for our high school teens at Glen Acres. We do this to not only have a great time of teaching but also to build and strengthen unity within our high school group.
Two or three times a year we take a group out of town to either a Youth Rally or Retreat that is sponsored by another congregation. These usually start on Friday afternoons, and we return on Sunday afternoon.
We invite the whole family to spend four days together camping at Salmon Falls campground (near Vancouver, WA) with other Christian families from the Northwest.
These meetings happen every Wednesday night, from 7:00-8:15 PM. They are geared for grades 6-8. We spend 20 minutes having fellowship, snacks, and games; 20 minutes on a craft; and then we spend 20 minutes in a Bible related devotion. --%>
